Lumigbo, CoatChecker and SONECT won the first stage of Venture Kick. They received CHF 10’000 each of pre-seed capital. Venture Kick now allows them to expand their project and compete for another CHF 20'000 at the next stage.

Every day, more than 1 million implants are placed into human and animal bodies using open surgery. Lumigbo develops a technology to build up implants inside the body using an access channel of less than half a millimeter in diameter. The procedure can be used for almost any type of implant.

CoatChecker is a new and innovative measuring device that can measure the thickness of sealing layers, which are widely used in the construction sector. The device uses a new method which significantly improves measuring time and does not destroy the measured layer. It will help construction companies around the world to save time and money.
