It all started in fall 2007 when the program was announced on Swiss Television.

The philantropic initiative of a private consortium started with the threefold mission to double the number of university spin-offs, make them more attractive for investors and accelerate time-to-market. This year, 280+ innovative startups will get funding and support from Venture Kick based on a budget of CHF 13 million. Today startups can win up to 1 Million Plus.

1,234+ Startups Kicked

CHF 67 million in cash have been paid out to kickstart talented startup founders. The survival rate of all incorporated companies is 84% and the impact they created is phenomenal: 830 active high-tech companies with 16,100+ jobs to date and CHF 10+ billion raised from investors.
