What was the first real signal that your solution worked outside the lab or pitch deck, and what did that moment change for you?
The first signal came before we had any code or pitch deck. Doxomed was born from real conversations with emergency medical teams who immediately resonated with the idea. Their enthusiasm was genuine and strong.
As we later presented our proof of concept to healthcare professionals across different roles, the interest and the way they projected it into their own workflows confirmed the need. That cross-sector validation didn’t just prove market demand, it gave us a sense of responsibility to carry this project through.
Can you briefly describe your project and where it stood when you entered Venture Kick?
Doxomed is building Switzerland’s first open, unified digital health platform, centered around a collaborative medical record and designed on global interoperability standards. Our goal is to place the patient at the center and make them an active partner in their care.
When we entered Venture Kick, we had formed the team, incorporated the company, defined our objectives, and begun development.
How has the direction of your product/service/product strategy changed since working with the Venture Kick Team?
Our core vision stayed the same, but Venture Kick sharpened our execution. We narrowed our focus to the modules users told us mattered most instead of trying to build everything at once.
We also shifted our thinking about our audience. It’s not just about the healthcare professional and patient, it’s also about decision-makers like practice managers and institutional buyers. The product has to work for both the daily user and the contract signer. Venture Kick helped us turn a strong product vision into a credible commercial strategy.
How will the Stage 2 funding help you advance your project concretely?
Stage 2 funding helps us move from a validated concept to real-world deployment. It allows us to turn committed interest into active users and build the commercial foundations needed to secure our first paying customers.
It also positions us to enter our next funding round with demonstrated traction, not just projections.
