Doxomed: Building foundations for tomorrow's healthcare
Despite leading Europe in healthcare quality, Switzerland severely lags in digitization. Patient data remains fragmented across siloed systems, forcing patients to repeat their medical history at every visit and undergo unnecessary exams - while leaving professionals to make critical decisions on incomplete information, a gap costing the Swiss economy CHF 8.2B every year.
Doxomed is building Switzerland's first open, all-in-one digital healthcare ecosystem, designed to finally connect all healthcare professionals and patients. One interoperable platform. At its core: a collaborative medical record with patient-controlled access rights. Built around it: booking, clinical documentation, billing, and collaborative workspaces - all integrated across the entire care journey and optimized by DoxomedAI at every step. Born from years of frontline medical practice and the frustration of working with inadequate digital solutions, the company was founded in May 2025. Doxomed is led by Dr. Pouya Hashemi, MD, CEO, alongside Clément Xuereb as CTO and Hugo Deroche as Tech Lead, who architect the platform, Pouya Soltani as CBO driving business strategy, Christophe Roldès as CMO leading market expansion, and Fernando Giraldo as CXO designing the user experience. Together, they are on a mission to empower professionals with digital tools and turn patients into active, informed partners in their healthcare.

GenoRobotics: bringing DNA analysis into the field
Species identification is currently slow, costly, and centralized, often requiring laboratory infrastructure and long turnaround times. This delays critical decisions in agriculture, customs, and conservation, where rapid identification is crucial to reduce economic losses and environmental damage.
To tackle these challenges, GenoRobotics has developed a field-deployable DNA sequencing kit capable of performing the entire identification pipeline on-site and in real-time, from sample preparation to species identification.
The startup, born from EPFL’s MAKE initiative, is led by CEO Nicolas Adam and CTO Dr. Michela Dall’Angelo, together with biodiversity experts Prof. Nadir Alvarez and Prof. Sven Buerki. This innovation empowers border authorities, farmers, and ecological conservation actors to act rapidly.
The Venture Kick funding will validate the solution through the deployment of early pilots with key user groups. Resources will be allocated to customer visits, pilot execution, and market validation. This will refine the value proposition and pricing strategy.

goNEON: Instant infrastructure planning with agentic AI
Infrastructure planning is far too slow, complex, and manual to meet today’s challenges. Cities and businesses struggle to evaluate infrastructure and mobility interventions at scale because they rely on outdated, fragmented models that fail to capture complex city-wide interactions.
goNEON is the first fully agentic infrastructure-planning service. Planners, engineering firms, infrastructure operators, and investors simply prompt our agent N! and receive technically feasible, regulation-aware designs for roads, utilities, and transit networks in minutes instead of years. Founded by seasoned entrepreneurs and urbanists (Lukas, PhD ETH, MSc ETH; Raphael, MSc UC San Diego, LSE, ETH), they deliver scalable yet tailored consulting services, targeting the 1.5 trillion architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) services market.
The team plans to use the Venture Kick funds to expand its presence at top global conferences, driving leads, visibility, and momentum, while deepening its role in the fast-moving agentic AEC ecosystem and growing the emerging community around it in Zurich.

Maus Robotics: Robotics that make you smile
Consumers seek quick, fresh, warm, and affordable meals, yet restaurants cannot meet this demand because of labor shortages and high rents. The increasingly popular supermarket ready-to-eat products fill the gap in convenience but lack freshness, leaving strong unmet demand for accessible, freshly prepared food.
Maus Robotics was founded by brothers Robert, a robotics PhD from EPFL, and Marten, an Associate at BCG, combining deep technical and business expertise. The startup is reinventing the quick service market by developing and operating robotic vending machines that autonomously prepare fresh crêpes from raw ingredients in just 90 seconds, available anytime. Customers select their favorite crêpe and watch it being made in real time. The robot fully automates spreading, cooking, filling, and serving while being transparent and clean. The fascination of the robot brings the first smile; the taste of the crêpe makes it last.
The Venture Kick funds will be used to advance the existing prototype into a robust pilot system, source key components, and build additional machines, laying the foundation for scalable commercial rollout.

Spikefore: Risk & Compliance AI Engine
Banks face a flood of evolving regulations from FINMA and Basel III. Compliance teams manually interpret hundreds of pages to understand impacts on controls, reporting, and capital, an expensive, error-prone process. Existing tools based on LLM alone only surface keywords but can’t explain how changes affect operations.
Spikefore automates regulatory understanding and impact analysis, helping banks instantly see what each rule change means for their organization. RegTech is USD20 billion and growing at 18% annually. The startup consists of a brother and sister duo. Tim studied finance & statistics and has a master’s degree in biostatistics, with previous startup experience. Laura has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in maths from ETH and a master’s degree in statistics from Yale with tech experience.
The startup will use the funds to expand its AI models and scale ongoing pilot projects. Their focus is on strengthening sales and cybersecurity capabilities to support enterprise-grade deployments and accelerate Spikefore’s next phase of growth. spikefore.ai
