Déploya receives CHF 40,000 from Venture Kick to advance its robotic façade deployment technology for the construction industry. By replacing traditional scaffolding with faster, automated deployment systems, the startup aims to improve efficiency, reduce installation time, and unlock new automation potential in ventilated façade construction.

What was the first real signal that your solution worked outside the lab or pitch deck, and what did that moment change for you?
The first real signal came when we started speaking with professionals in the façade and scaffolding industry. They immediately understood the value of our solution and got excited about it.
At the same time, we built our first liquidity plan and realized the business model was economically viable for all stakeholders. That gave us confidence that we were solving a real and scalable problem.
Can you briefly describe your project and where it stood when you entered Venture Kick?
We started Déploya in August 2025 with support from an EPFL Ignition Grant. Initially, the idea was simply to replace scaffolding with a solution that could be deployed much faster.
As we met partners and customers, we identified ventilated façades as the right entry point and saw the huge automation potential in the sector. In parallel, we built our first prototype, which helped communicate the vision more clearly. Before entering Venture Kick Stage 1, we already had letters of intent, pilot interest, early investor discussions, and an initial demonstrator.
How has the direction of your product/service/product strategy changed since working with the Venture Kick Team?
Venture Kick didn’t fundamentally change our solution or strategy, but it helped us significantly sharpen our narrative.
The preparation camps pushed us to simplify and clarify our value proposition for non-specialists. That iterative process helped us build a much stronger and more focused pitch.
How will the Stage 2 funding help you advance your project concretely?
Stage 2 funding will mainly support customer discovery and partnerships outside Switzerland. It will also help us develop more robust demonstrators, which are essential for building trust in robotics and construction.
In parallel, we’ll invest in professional communication materials, including a corporate video, and continue preparing for compliance requirements.
