Voltiris commercializes the first solar modules for glass greenhouses. This innovation allows for double-land use of greenhouses’ surface, generating electricity with no reduction of crop productivity. For growers, this translates into improved energy independence, increased profitability, and reduced carbon footprint.
Voltiris’ technology separates the light components coming from the sun, transmitting the required light for photosynthesis to the crops while transforming the rest into renewable energy. As the solution is installed inside greenhouses, it does not require any building permits to be deployed.
Voltiris has currently 10+ ongoing commercial projects with leading growers across Europe and closed in January 2025 a 4.8 Mn CHF seed round, co-led by EquityPitcher and 3M.
