The startup provides financing for private individuals, self-employed and SMEs, by connecting them directly with private and institutional investors. Why do you choose New York as your business development destination?
New York is the financial capital of the US. It is our aim to bring P2P lending to the largest institutional investors, as this has already started with e.g. Prosper’s recent USD 5 billion bond placement.
What do you want to achieve on the trip?
Our goal is to get a better understanding of the US market, i.e. US lenders (rather than US platforms). I would like to make new contacts, to be challenged, to learn a lot and to have fun.
