Meet our next venture leader today, Oliver Marchand, the CEO & co-founder of Carbon Delta. It's a boutique research firm that specializes in identifying and analyzing the climate change resilience of publicly traded companies and identifies how much a company's value is possibly affected by climate change.
Why do you choose New York as your business development destination?
The big apple is a major center for asset management: 8 out of the 40 world's largest asset managers are based in New York. Naturally, we want to test the market in the US.
What do you want to achieve on the trip?
We would like to talk to potential clients, learn from the group and talk to investors.
Why is venture leaders Fintech beneficial for your company?
The experience is already paying off in a number of aspects: gaining from the experience of other founders, social media marketing value, introduction to future clients and travel money. Thanks for that!
Have you been to New York before?
I have been there before a number of times. Being a lindy hop dancer, I would like to check out some of the swing dancing locations.
