ASTROCAST service solves the burning need of a low cost global IoT/M2M communication service in today’s world. As the satellite connectivity moves from an add-on component towards an integrated part of the end user application, the need of a single cost effective global service is urgent.
Why do you choose China as your business development destination?
China is taking a great initiative in terms of building infrastructure to connect China with Europe through Central Asia, and to East Africa through South Asia, as part of "OBOR (One Belt One Road)" initiative. We provide global satellite M2M/IoT connectivity at the lowest cost. Our communication service can provide remote monitoring of the infrastructure assets across the remote transit routes, and geo-location services to locate and track the goods in transit.

What are your expectations and how will you utilize the opportunity to participate in venture leaders China to expand your business?
By 2021, we aim to reach 2 million annual subscriptions. The State Council authorized an OBOR action plan in 2015 with 2 main components: the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road. As mentioned earlier, as part of China's initiative of "OBOR" (One Belt One Road), the Silk Road Economic Belt is a huge infrastructure project connecting China to Europe through Central Asia, Persian Gulf, and South Asia. And the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road is planned to connect regional waterways and road infrastructure in South Asia and South East Asia. Providing remote infrastructure monitoring services and Geolocation services in this "OBOR" belt to logistic and shipping companies, and infrastructure maintainence companies could help us fill major part of 2 million subscriptions. We look forward to meet people in China from these three areas: - Launch Prospects: To find and discuss low cost launch opportunities on rockets designed by the China Space Sanjiang Group Corporation (EXPACE). - Technology Colloboration: As EXPACE is also designing and implementing a 57 nano-satellite constellation based on cubesat 2-U platforms, it will be interesting for us to meet them and discuss potential partnerships. EXPACE recently launched Xingyun Shiyan-1 to test low earth orbit narrowband communication downlink technologies. - Applications: Under the China's "OBOR" (One Belt One Road) inititiative there exist a huge opportunity in Geolocation Services, and Remote Infrastructure Monitoring Services through Astrocast constellation of nano-satellites. - Chinese Shipping and Logistic Companies, Infrastructure and Maintenenace companies For eg. The China Communications Construction Company, The China Railway Engineering Corporation, The China Railway Group, Chinese construction equipment companies such as Sany, Zoomlion and XCMG.
