Lunaphore is disrupting tissue diagnostics field by fundamentally changing the time and resource driven nature of diagnostic assays on tumor sections.
Why do you choose China as your business development destination?
Lunaphore’s lab automation systems that drastically improve the throughput and speed of cancer tissue diagnostics is particularly needed in a country like China who serves to a large demographic base. It offers unparalleled potential for Lunaphore as the disruptive tissue diagnostic automation provider, since it is continuously expanding very quickly its health systems quality, capacity and reach. Naturally, during the last year we have been continuously contacted by potential partners and investors from China and we decided to increase the priority of the country in our business development plan.
What are your expectations and how will you utilize the opportunity to participate in venture leaders China to expand your business?
venture leaders China offers a very high potential roadshow at the economic focal points of the country. During the trip, we would like to grow our contact base of key players which we can collaborate during market access, including but not limited to distribution partners, clinical studies, production and financing.

What aspect(s) of China would you like to decrypt/know more about, businesswise?
My business development goals in China are (1) Understanding local ecosystem and the potential in the startup financing. (2) Finding out the best possible mechanism for Lunaphore to distribute the products in the country and (3) Confirming the information we have on the health economics, reimbursement and regulatory aspects directly with the local players.
