Ava develops a wearable medical device based on a patented multi-sensor technology, which monitors the menstrual cycle of women in order to precisely indicate fertile days and facilitate family planning. Compared with other methods and tools in the market, Ava’s solution is more convenient and precise.
Why do you choose China as your business development destination?
China is a key market in our industry (medical). Based on the latest changes around the “one child policy”, it is getting even more attractive.
What do you want to achieve from the trip?
My objective is to strengthen the existing ties with potential Chinese partners, and verify our current hypotheses regarding market entry of Ava in China.
Why is venture leaders China really beneficial for your company?
There are two key reasons: first, there is a lineup of high-level meetings that we as a startup company could not have arranged ourselves. Second, I expect lots of valuable discussions within the group – all of us have the objective to bring promising technologies to China, and build up sustainable cooperation.
