Bitsplitters

Samuel Welten, PhD student at ETHZ, developed Bitsplitters, a small UV-sensing system. It can help skin cancer patients monitor and change their UV related behavior in order to decrease the risk of a relapse. UV radiation leads to skin cancer with increasing worldwide prevalence. By reducing the UV exposure, it can effectively lower your skin cancer risk.

Kiss Menu

Zarko Milosevic, Kiss Menu co-founder, is PhD student at the EPFL.  The startup developed a mobile application, which allows visitors of the HoReCa establishments (hotels/restaurants/cafes) to view the menu, to order directly their meal/drink, call a waiter, pay through their smartphone and many other features. This could facilitate the life of HoReCa establishments and their clients.

CONGRATULATIONS !
