corpod receives CHF 40,000 from Venture Kick to build scalable interoperable robotics ecosystem
02.04.2026
coprod receives CHF 40,000 from Venture Kick to advance its interoperable robotics platform for building and scaling complex robots. By providing modular hardware and a unified stack that eliminates integration bottlenecks, coprod enables faster, more reliable robot development, lowering barriers for teams to bring advanced robotics systems to life.

What was the first real signal that your solution worked outside the lab or pitch deck, and what did that moment change for you?
The real turning point was when our first coproducts® were integrated into our bipedal robot, co:dodo, and it showed its first signs of life just before Christmas 2025.
We had built it in a garage in about three months, working evenings and weekends. That’s when it clicked: if we could do this under those conditions, bringing it to market could give teams a real unfair advantage.
Can you briefly describe your project and where it stood when you entered Venture Kick?
At coprod, we’re solving a problem we’ve faced ourselves for years: building robots is still slow and painful, with fragmented hardware, no interoperability, and teams rebuilding everything from scratch.
When we entered Venture Kick, our bipedal robot was still not operational, and our components were early PCB prototypes that couldn’t yet communicate reliably. We were at a very early stage, still trying to make the system work end-to-end.
How has the direction of your product/service/product strategy changed since working with the Venture Kick Team?
Venture Kick pushed us to strengthen our industry connections. We focused on building partnerships and bringing in experienced advisors.
This led to a key partnership with a global component supplier, and we’re continuing to build a strong network around us to support our growth.
How will the Stage 2 funding help you advance your project concretely?
Stage 2 funding will mainly support market outreach, including travel, industry fairs, and marketing activities.
And on a more practical note, it also means we’ll finally move out of our CEO’s parents’ garage and into a proper workspace, upgrading from wooden stools to real office chairs.
