Two new startups, Vigilitech and Magnes, won the second stage of Venture Kick and its CHF 20’000 of pre-seed capital. Before they compete at the final, we give you a first impression of the new rising stars.

Vigilitech develops the Mouse Vigilator, a compact standalone system for mice that monitors and controls vital physiological parameters during surgical interventions. Connected wirelessly to a browser, tablet or smartphone, the available software application visualizes core temperature, respiration and heart. Synchronization of acquired data with a cloud service ensures data storage and enables post-hoc analysis.
The ultimate measure of a cyclist’s performance is the energy he dissipates. Current apps and wearables do not provide accurate measurements. The startup Magnes makes a wearable powermeter to get the most from athletes training. They are targeting all cyclist from fun-seekers to professionals by combining a compact design, high accuracy, and multi-axis direct measurement capability with an easy to use software compatible with most smart phones and bike computers.
