Venture Kick creates a strong new partnership with Engagement Migros

As part of a two-year pilot project, Engagement Migros will support Venture Kick. The program promotes innovative business ideas in all areas, from their start to company creation. Since its launch in 2007, Venture Kick has developed a highly efficient process, based on qualification, speed and a competitive selection system.

Engagement Migros makes it possible for pioneering projects to be carried out including those in the economic field since 2015, and as part of a changing society. The priority is to strengthen Switzerland's place in innovation and improve its value in the digital domain. Engagement Migros was also the first partner to support the pilot tests of the Kickstart Accelerator program, which were recently completed in Zurich. The organisation is made possible by annual contributions from the companies within the Migros Group in the amount of approximately 10 million CHF, and helps to carry out about fifty pioneering projects. Engagement Migros has been supplementing Migros Culture Percentage since 2012. 

The innovation potential of Switzerland not yet exploited
Pascale Vonmont, delegate of the strategy board of Venture Kick and Deputy Director of Gebert Rüf Stiftung, emphasizes the importance of this new partnership: "We are very pleased to welcome Engagement Migros amongst the donators of the Venture Kick Foundation.
