Two rocking startups win the second stage of Venture Kick

Hats off to our new great winners of the second stage of Venture Kick: CatchEye and Vizir. They win CHF 20’000 each. Meet them now before they compete on the third stage of our program, where they might win another CHF 100'000 in total each.

CatchEye's vision is to make video calls as engaging and as similar as possible to a physical meeting, increasing the feeling of trust and mutual presence between participants.Their video chat add-on can correct common issues in video calls such as missing eye contact, unfavorable lighting or a distracting background.
VIZIR develops a smart visor that, combined with a thermal imaging camera, will help firefighters see what’s around them in real time, even at night and in smoke. The startup combines thermal vision and augmented reality to give firefighters a clear vision in dark and smoky environments.
