These are the four Venture Kick winners of stage 1

And the lucky winners of the latest first stage are: OneSky, Daphne Technology, Scewo and RetinAI Medical. The four startups won CHF 10’000 each. They will soon compete on the second stage, where Venture Kick will allow them to expand their project and compete for another CHF 20'000 at the next stage.

OneSky: They aim for a safer smarter sky for all. The increasing air traffic and the exponential growth of drone users have given rise to more and more complex situations, especially at lower altitudes and in uncontrolled areas. Scewo: The stair climbing wheelchair. Scewo is developing a powered wheelchair which meets the demands of daily use and has the ability to climb and descend stairs safely without external help. They build the wheelchair of the 21st century! Scewo's goal is to combine the new technologies and an aesthetic design to develop a new generation wheelchair.
RetinAI Medical: A Swiss startup empowering eye care professionals and supporting patients through artificial intelligence. RetinAI uses exclusive machine learning techniques and medical image processing to reach human-level performance for the assisted evaluation of medical scans of the eye. Their vision is to transform reactive medicine to preventive medicine for high-impact diseases, such as Age-related Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy or Glaucoma.
