Taskbase started in education with Lernnavi, a platform helping over 23,000 pupils annually strengthen math and German skills. By analyzing individual performance, it tailored learning paths to each student—a principle now applied to corporate learning.
Micromate, founded in 2015, pioneered chat- and voice-based micro-learning in Switzerland, delivering solutions to SBB, Swiss Post, Helvetia, and Lufthansa. Its platform integrates short, ten-minute learning sessions into Microsoft Teams, achieving higher engagement than traditional systems.
The acquisition combines Taskbase’s adaptive AI with Micromate’s delivery expertise. Employees will receive context-aware, skill-adapted learning moments without leaving the tools they already use, making learning interactive, relevant, and embedded into daily work.
Taskbase and Micromate began operating as one company on December 1, with first deployments planned for early 2026, initially targeting sales teams in tech companies. The platform will later expand to leadership development and other corporate learning areas, focusing on timing, context, and real-world relevance over sheer content volume.
