Which are the best emerging and promising Swiss startups? 100 experts marked the startups competing for the TOP 100 and here is a snapshot of today’s TOP 100 startups in Switzerland. 60% have benefited from venture kick seed capital. This breaks all the previous records!

Far from the clichés of a non-enterprising Switzerland, the Helvetic Confederation shines today on the top of loads of rankings thanks to its innovation performance.
This year, the Innovation Union Scoreboard ranked Switzerland at the first place above Sweden and Denmark. The major actors of this success are the young talents that launch everyday into high-tech entrepreneurship.
60 of the TOP 100 from venture kick
venture kick is a philanthropic initiative of a private consortium, which was established six years ago, has also left its mark on the TOP 100 because of its policy of making as much as 130,000 Swiss francs of seed capital available to high-tech projects coming from university settings. A total of 60 venture kick alumni have made the TOP 100. 7 startups of the TOP10, such as BioVersys, Abionic and L.E.S.S, won the 130’000 Swiss francs of seed capital these last years.
Switzerland far from exhausting its potential
The TOP 100 is an excellent example of the high level of innovative potential in this country. It demonstrates that Switzerland can continuously produce startups that meet or exceed the highest standards of technology and competitiveness anywhere in the world – an important prerequisite to ensuring jobs in the future and allowing new companies and technologies to emerge over the long run.
