askEarth's solution uses Large Language Models (LLMs) to turn geospatial data into real-time, actionable insights. Designed for broad enterprise use, the platform allows users—from analysts to executives—to ask natural-language questions and receive precise, location-based answers, streamlining decision-making in sectors such as energy, insurance, commodity trading, and environmental monitoring.

The company's technology builds on academic research from the University of Zurich, EPFL, and ETH Zurich, and is supported by the European Space Agency. It combines state-of-the-art Earth observation capabilities with agentic AI, and is already in use by major industry players for risk monitoring and market intelligence.

The CHF 2.26 million seed round was led by 42CAP, with participation from Kickfund, Zürcher Kantonalbank, Venture Kick, S2S Ventures, and Founderful Campus. With this investment, askEarth will grow its sales and customer success teams, accelerate product development, and expand its network of partners across Europe and beyond.

The ICT startup won the last stage of Venture Kick in 2023.
