G-Therapeutics is a spin-off from Prof. Courtine's laboratory (EPFL) which aims at restoring functional motor control in spinal cord injury patients. There is currently no solution for promoting the recovery of locomotion of paraplegic patients after spinal cord injury.

G-Therapeutics is developing an implantable stimulation system and a robot-assisted training program to rehabilitate individuals with spinal cord injury. The approach developed in the G-Therapeutics laboratory is enabling fully paralyzed animal to walk again with a success rate of 100%. Now G-Therapeutics have to translate these scientific breakthroughs in an intervention for humans.
