Rapidata, a Venture Leaders program participant and Venture Kick winner, is tackling one of AI development’s biggest bottlenecks: the slow, manual process of gathering large-scale human feedback. By leveraging crowd intelligence and a global network of participants, Rapidata delivers on-demand, high-quality human data, reducing feedback timelines from weeks to hours and lowering the cost of training AI models.
The USD 8.5 million seed round was led by Canaan Partners and IA Ventures, with participation from Acequia Capital and BlueYard. The funding will expand Rapidata’s global human data network and support increasing demand from AI companies seeking faster, more reliable feedback for model validation and refinement.
Led by CEO and founder Jason Corkill, Rapidata’s platform enables AI teams to label, validate, and refine datasets at scale, streamlining the development and deployment of advanced AI models.
"Winning Venture Kick gave us financial footing that allowed specialized tasks and uncertainties to be outsourced to experienced personnel boosting the efficiency of our work and therefore accelerating the progress of the product. Maybe most importantly, we are under the impression that being part of the Venture Kick has also exposed us to a range of external investors which has been important for putting together the funding round," said Jason Corkill, Co-Founder & CEO of Rapidata. "To all potential mobile tech entrepreneurs launching companies in Switzerland today, apply for the Venture Kick program! It gave us early focus and has been a great experience throughout," continued Jason.
