RAPID-C+ is already commercially available, and Plair, a Venture Kick alumnus, has raised CHF 1 million from bioMérieux to accelerate its global rollout. The system combines continuous sampling on standard agar media with instant particle counting, enabling faster microbial identification and more informed decision-making in cleanrooms.

Plair will continue working with its global network of partners and distributors to bring RAPID-C+ to pharmaceutical manufacturers worldwide. The investment reflects bioMérieux’s strategy to strengthen its Pharma Quality Control offerings and support innovation in environmental monitoring, drawing on more than 60 years of scientific expertise and a partner-focused approach.
