Octotronic and Visense have merged to create Octotronic AG, combining their expertise in AI-driven video analysis and smart factory solutions. The new company, headquartered at Technopark Zurich, aims to enhance operational efficiency and simplify the development of AI applications in manufacturing.

Zurich-based startups Octotronic and Visense have merged to form Octotronic, combining Visense's expertise in AI-driven video analysis and low-code technology with Octotronic’s smart factory integration. The new company, headquartered at Technopark Zurich, aims to address manufacturing challenges by bridging operational and information technologies (OT and IT).

Octotronic AG will focus on creating a unified data architecture and analytics tools to support digital transformation. Its proprietary data platform promises to break down data silos and ensure full data transparency. The company also offers smart factory consultancy and integration services, backed by a diverse team of founders and advisors.
