Founded in 2020, NematX specializes in advanced polymer 3D printing and liquid crystal polymer (LCP) materials. Their proprietary "Nematic 3D Printing" technology delivers high-performance components with exceptional thermal and mechanical properties.
NematX's flagship product, NEX 01, is a Swiss precision 3D printing platform designed for high-throughput production and precise control. Since its launch, the company has onboarded over 30 major electronics and semiconductor clients, generating nearly CHF 1 million CHF in revenue. A private investor has contributed CHF 1.3 million, supplementing CHF 0.8 million in non-dilutive funding and prizes.
Recently, NematX formed a strategic partnership with POLYPLASTICS, a subsidiary of the Japanese DAICEL Group, known for its expertise in engineering thermoplastics. This collaboration aims to develop new high-performance polymer materials and advanced 3D printing processes for demanding industries. The partnership will also promote NematX's NEX 01 globally and support the creation of eco-friendly materials and efficient production methods.
NematX won the first stage of Venture Kick in 2020.
