The funding package includes a EUR 2.5 million grant and a EUR 10 million equity investment from the EIC Fund. Nanoflex Robotics, a developer of magnetically controlled telerobotic systems for endovascular interventions, was selected among just 38 companies from approximately 1,000 applicants across 16 EU and associated countries. The company was one of four Swiss startups chosen and the only medical technology company among them.
Nanoflex Robotics, a Venture Kick and Venture Leaders alumnus, and ranked among the Top100 Swiss Startups, is developing a robotics platform that uses magnetic navigation to steer ultra-flexible guidewires through blood vessels during minimally invasive procedures. The technology aims to improve the speed and safety of complex endovascular interventions, particularly in stroke treatment, while enabling remote, teleoperated procedures that could expand access to specialist care.
The EIC Accelerator funding will support the company’s clinical validation activities toward CE marking in Europe and the commercialization of the first version of its platform.
