What was the first real signal that your solution worked outside the lab or pitch deck, and what did that moment change for you?
The first strong market signal came when we presented evooia to professionals at the international aesthetic fair in Paris (IMCAS). The concept of transforming a smartphone into a professional imaging solution resonated immediately. Their response showed us that we were addressing a major and widespread problem with a solution that could be made accessible through a device practitioners already carry in their pockets. That moment marked a turning point for us: it confirmed that the need was real, the value proposition was compelling, and our solution resonated far beyond our initial assumptions.
Can you briefly describe your project and where it stood when you entered Venture Kick?
evooia enables the capture of consistent, standardized images for high-quality before-and-after documentation. Wherever visual documentation and reliable visual proof matter, evooia sets the gold standard, particularly in fields of aesthetic medicine and dermatology. By the time we entered Venture Kick, we already had a working product and had started collaborating with our first pilot clinics to further refine the solution.
How has the direction of your product/service/product strategy changed since working with the Venture Kick Team
Working with the Venture Kick team, especially through pitch preparation and feedback, helped us sharpen our strategic focus. We placed greater emphasis on collecting anonymized data to further improve our core technology and strengthen its long-term value. At the same time, we generated measurable insights showing that our solution reduces friction and improves usability across different age groups.
How will the Stage 2 funding help you advance your project concretely?
The Stage 2 funding will help us scale the commercialization of our product in a concrete way. It will enable us to expand market outreach through targeted paid advertising and to establish the legal and contractual foundations needed to work effectively with distributors. This support is an important step toward broader market adoption.
