This capital infusion will enable the company to scale-up its production capacity, addressing the increasing market demand for its innovative ethanol-free fine fragrance Perfume Pearls.

Microcaps, a leading innovator in advanced microencapsulation technology, has completed its Series A financing round, raising CHF 9.3 million. This substantial capital boost represents a pivotal moment for the company as it seeks to meet the growing demand for its unique ethanol-free fine fragrance product, Perfume Pearls. The Series A round attracted new private investors, expanding the company’s support network, with contributions from existing shareholders such as Helvetica Capital, Zürcher Kantonalbank, and the ETH Foundation. This robust financial backing highlights the continued confidence in Microcaps' vision and strategic direction.

The CHF 9.3 million raised will be allocated to enhancing Microcaps' production facilities and ongoing development efforts for applications beyond fine fragrance. By expanding manufacturing capabilities, Microcaps aims to ensure the timely delivery of its ethanol-free Perfume Pearls to meet the increasing market demand. This expansion will also support continuous research and development, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of microencapsulation technology across various applications.
Microcaps was ranked among the TOP 100 Swiss Startups from 2020 to 2023, won the final stage of Venture Kick in 2019, and participated in Venture Leaders Technology in the same year.
