Zurich-based startup Lobby has secured USD 2.2 million in funding to advance its AI-driven platform designed to automate group bookings. The company aims to address one of the travel industry’s most persistent operational bottlenecks by streamlining complex, manual booking processes.

Group bookings represent a growing revenue stream for travel providers, often generating higher value per transaction than individual reservations. Yet, the process remains time-consuming and fragmented, largely due to manual handling and reliance on email-based communication.

Founded in 2025 in Zürich, the Venture Kick alumnus Lobby has developed a platform that manages the full lifecycle of group booking requests. Its system processes incoming enquiries, generates accurate quotes, and automates follow-ups, reducing response times and improving conversion rates.

A central focus of the solution lies in handling B2B and group booking requests received via email, still a primary sales channel across hotels, transportation providers, and the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) segment. Lobby’s platform converts these incoming emails into structured booking proposals within 30 seconds.

The software integrates with tools such as Gmail and Microsoft Outlook, as well as existing property management systems. It offers both full automation and a human-in-the-loop option, allowing staff to review and approve quotes before they are sent.

Following the funding round, Lobby plans to extend its offering beyond hospitality into adjacent segments, including MICE, experiences and attractions, cruises, and airlines. The company is also expanding its team to support this next phase of growth.
