Founded in 2012, L.E.S.S. designs, develops, and manufactures advanced lighting systems based on its proprietary nano-active fiber technology. Its LuxiBright platform enables ultra-bright, ultra-uniform, and ultra-thin lighting solutions that offer higher precision, energy efficiency, and design flexibility compared to conventional LED systems.

The company’s technology is deployed in demanding applications where performance and reliability are critical. In industrial machine vision, its lighting systems support precise inspection processes. In the automotive sector, LuxiBright is used in high-end signal and contour lighting, offering new design possibilities while meeting strict performance standards. The technology is also applied in medical illumination, where uniformity and compact integration are essential.

Recently, L.E.S.S. presented the world’s first series production vehicle equipped with LuxiBright technology, marking a milestone in automotive lighting. The integration demonstrates the platform’s readiness for large-scale deployment and its potential to reshape lighting design in next-generation vehicles.

With the new Series C funding, the company, a Venture Kick winner, Venture Leaders participant, and Top100 Swiss Startup, plans to expand production capacity, strengthen its market presence, and support growing demand across its target industries.
