What was the first real signal that your solution worked outside the lab or pitch deck, and what did that moment change for you?

A Reddit post about our open-source project hit over 500,000 views in a few days. People started integrating it into their own agents and asking us to adapt it to their setups.

That’s when it clicked. We weren’t inventing a problem, we had hit something teams were already struggling with. From that point on, we stopped second-guessing and went all in.

Can you briefly describe your project and where it stood when you entered Venture Kick?

Kayba helps teams detect where their AI agents silently fail, fix those failures automatically, and verify that the fixes actually work.
Silent failures are a major issue in AI products, they drive user churn and are hard to detect without time-consuming manual review. Kayba automates this process, significantly reducing debugging time.
When we entered Venture Kick, the core technology was already used by developers, with around 1,800 GitHub stars. But we hadn’t yet built a hosted product or acquired paying customers.

How has the direction of your product/service/product strategy changed since working with the Venture Kick Team?

We focused on turning Kayba into a product companies can easily adopt. It now integrates into existing stacks and continuously improves agent performance while reducing costs.
We also shifted heavily toward commercial execution, running over 50 discovery calls, launching our hosted product, and converting early interest into paid pilots. Customer conversations became our main driver for product decisions.

How will the Stage 2 funding help you advance your project concretely?

On the commercial side, it will help us convert our pipeline and LOIs into paying customers and revenue.
On the technical side, it allows us to strengthen the team, move faster, and deliver high-quality pilots.
