The spin-off from Switzerland’s Idiap Research Institute and Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne will use the funds to “bring the 3D eye tracking development kit ready for integration into consumer applications,” the Martigny, Switzerland based company said in an emailed statement.
Eyeware received 10,000 francs and support from Venture Kick in 2015.
"We are glad to have received support from the Venture Kick program early in the development of Eyeware's strategy," chief executive Kenneth Funes said. "The expert workshops on startup topics helped us improve our business skills and take better decisions moving forward."
