Achieving ultra-low latency in audio communication is crucial for various applications, from gaming to live events and satellite communications. The main hurdle isn't just network speed ("ping"), but also its variability over time, especially in wireless setups.
SONIX stands out for its unmatched end-to-end latency performance, showcased notably at the 2022 Montreux Jazz Festival. This project targets specialized AI algorithms to tackle the challenge of ultra-low latency in subpar networks, aiming for seamless internet interactions akin to in-person conversations, with latency as low as 30 to 60 ms, mimicking sound speed in a room.
SONIX was ranked among the TOP 100 Swiss Startups in 2022 and 2023, participated in Venture Leaders Technology and Venture Leaders Mobile in 2022, and won the second stage of Venture Kick in 2018.
