DataThink enhances the operational performances by interpretation of production data on a real-time basis. The method includes statistical and numerical simulation analyses combined with the LEAN manufacturing approach.
The ETH Spin-off Pregnostics is developing a diagnostic tool that measures the cervical stiffness in pregnant women. Monitoring cervical stiffness allows identifying women at risk of preterm birth, thus solving the problem of preterm birth risk assessment in pregnancy. With their innovation the Pregnostics team received the 1st place at the best business idea award >>venture>> in Zurich and impressed the jury at the international ideas competition Falling Walls Lab in Berlin: Dr. Sabrina Badir, founder of the Startup, was awarded with the Falling Walls Youth Innovator 2015 prize.
