Derma2go takes off

Derma2go is an innovative telemedicine platform that enables dermatologists to offer online consultations via their own practice website. In this way, patients can contact their trusted dermatologist either independently or through their family doctor or pharmacist. The selected dermatologist can then carry out a corresponding triage within a few hours and formulate an answer online.

The increasing acceptance of digital services also exists in the medical sector e.x. online consultations. Dermatologists appreciate the possibility of triage as well as the lower financial and time expenditure per patient. Patients value reduced lead-, traveling- and on-site waiting time.
Eight months after the company incorporation and a few weeks after launch, derma2go closed its first seed round and also receives recognition from the Swiss Society of Dermatology and Venerology (SGDV). The project recently won two prizes worth several thousand Swiss francs at the 100th Annual General Meeting. The startup is winner of the People’s Choice Award in the IFAS Innovation Challenge 2018.
A highlight in the company's history is expected to take place in December: Founder Greis has just received an invitation to Helsinki from the Swiss Innovation Promotion Agency (innosuisse). Europe's largest startup conference (Slush) will bring together the startup scene to present their projects to an international audience.
