Binabik AI receives CHF 40,000 from Venture Kick to accelerate humanoid deployment across industries

13.02.2026

The AI robotics startup Binabik AI has secured Venture Kick support to advance its modular, agentic operating system for humanoid robots. By enabling robots to adapt to dynamic environments without constant retraining, the technology allows humanoids to interact safely with people, handle objects, and operate autonomously in real-world settings. Binabik AI aims to unlock scalable deployment of intelligent robots across multiple industries.

What was the first real signal that your solution worked outside the lab or pitch deck, and what did that moment change for you?
During the three months of Venture Kick Stage I, Binabik moved from lab development to a real proof of concept with our industrial partner, deploying the robot in realistic conditions.

Demoing the solution to the company’s leadership made everything tangible. It showed us that adoption wasn’t theoretical anymore, it was realistic for both sides. That moment shifted us from building technology to building a product people were ready to use.

Can you briefly describe your project and where it stood when you entered Venture Kick?
We work at the intersection of Agentic AI and Physical AI. We’re building a modular, agentic operating system for humanoid robots that allows them to adapt without constant retraining or massive datasets.

When we applied to Venture Kick, our software was running on a quadruped robot. You could ask our robodog to patrol an area or look for changes. Today, we have a humanoid robot that can interact with people, pick and carry objects, and safely navigate shared environments.

How has the direction of your product/service/product strategy changed since working with the Venture Kick Team?
At the beginning, we were building a “brain” for any robot body. By Stage I, we had narrowed our focus to humanoids. By Stage II, our service offering had matured, and our value proposition became much clearer and more focused.

How will the Stage 2 funding help you advance your project concretely?
So far, we’ve been fully focused on one vertical. But we’re convinced there’s a much bigger opportunity out there.

Stage 2 gives us the space to explore new verticals while strengthening our current collaboration. It’s about expanding strategically without losing momentum.
