Startup Battlefield aims at bringing the world’s top early stage startups together on one stage to compete for the coveted Disrupt Cup, a $50,000 prize, as well as the attention of worldwide media and investors. As per TechCrunch, the selected startups represented the “crème de la crème” of startups, and were just over 2.5 percent of those that applied.
Over the past month, CEO Pascal Koenig and his team spent time with TechCrunch staff to hone their Startup Battlefield pitch to a crisp six minutes. They then faced off against an impressive lineup of judges during a live Q&A session.

A year of great successes for AVA
Right after their trip to Boston and New York last June, Ava won the final of Venture Kick and announced opening a new office in San Francisco. Ava is also a finalist of the TOP100 Swiss Startups this year as a newcomer, at rank Nr. 94. And the American dream of Ava is not over. On 11 October, they will fly to Silicon Valley with the Swisscom Startup Challenge.
As per the recent TechCrunch’s feature article on Ava, the startup’s bracelet launch is scheduled early 2016. The startup is also very close to closing a seed round of funding for $2.3 million USD.
