AVAtronics Raises CHF 1.6 Million to Advance its Noise-Canceling Technology

Tech startup AVAtronics SA closed its first round of financing and raised CHF 1.6 million to develop its technology further, expand the team, and enter new geographical markets.

AVAtronics, a Venture Kick winner, rids the world of unwanted noise. With its AVA Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) solution, the Lausanne-based startup minimizes unwanted audio noise in a wide range of products and applications, such as phones, conferencing units, smart speakers, headphones, and hearing aids. AVAtronics just closed its first round of financing, in which it raised CHF 1.6 million from Zürcher Kantonalbank, Investiere, Gobeyond Invest, Norga Capital, Accelerace Invest, and private investors. 

AVAtronics SA is providing its patented True Wideband Active Noise Cancellation technology to various industries. The company is headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, with a subsidiary based at Sound Hub Denmark, in the north of Denmark, where it has access to world-class acoustic test facilities and audio experts.

With this round of financing, AVAtronics facilitates developing the technology, expanding AVA Noise Cancellation to new industries beyond headphones, entering new geographical markets outside of Europe, and expanding the team. 

AVAtronics is supported VentureKick, where the startup won CHF 50,000 in 2019.
