Pour la première fois, le jury du programme venture leaders a sélectionné une équipe suisse de start-up actives dans les fintech. Composée de dix entrepreneurs, elle rejoint les équipes existantes du programme venture leaders qui se rendent chaque année à la Silicon Valley (start-up technologiques), Boston (sciences de la vie) ou en Chine (tous les domaines). Les participants se préparent à un programme de développement commercial intensif à New York.

Les dix start-up sélectionnées reflètent la qualité et la croissance de la fintech suisse ces dernières années. Du 10 au 16 septembre prochain à New York, elles feront le tour des investisseurs et des experts locaux afin d’accélérer leur croissance et mettre toutes les chances de leur côté pour se faire une place sur le marché US.

«New York est un pôle technologique et économique majeur dans le monde, qui attire plus de 3 milliards de dollars en investissements chaque année», explique Jordi Montserrat, Directeur de venturelab. «La ville est notamment devenue une référence pour les fintech. Conjugué à l’essor des start-up dans ce domaine en Suisse, il nous est paru important de profiter de ce potentiel et d’y envoyer certaines des meilleures fintech suisses pour les aider dans leur processus d’internationalisation».
