KB Medical offers a complete robotic assistance system, providing innovative and highly precise surgical solutions for spinal fusion surgeries. Its seamless integration into existing operating rooms is guaranteed as the robotic system is very compact and fits perfectly into surgical workflows.
Spinal fusion is a surgical technique used to join two or more vertebrae and is a well-established procedure. The use of a robotic system shall reduce surgery time and cause fewer traumas which may lead to shorter hospitalization times and reduced treatment costs. Furthermore radiation exposure of the medical staff is expected to be lowered by 30% compared to current techniques.
