Check these startups out as they just won the first stage of Venture Kick
14.12.2015
Four new great high-tech projects recently impressed the Venture Kick jury and won the first stage of our program. Congratulations to Regenerative liver cell therapy, Eyeware, Insolight and CyanoGuard who won CHF 10.000 each. They are now getting ready for the second stage of Venture Kick, where they might win another CHF 20.000.

Regenerative liver cell therapy - addressing the shortage of donor organ supply (Biotech)
The idea aims at replacing whole liver transplantations by repopulating patient livers with transplantable liver cells. The technology will help to circumvent shortage of immune-compatible donor lives.
Eyeware - connecting people and computers (Software)
Eyeware's first product, “Eyeware-Assist”, allows people with limited body mobility to control a standard computer at a lower cost and higher flexibility than alternatives.
Insolight - disruptive innovation in optics for solar energy (Cleantech)
Insolight aims at simplifying sunlight concentration for photovoltaic systems (CPV) by drastically changing the way of tracking the sun throughout the year. The Lausanne based startup combines the advantages of standard solar panels' mounting structure with the high efficiency of concentrated photovoltaics.
CyanoGuard - making cyanide visible (Biotech)
CyanoGuard develops and supplies novel proprietary test kits to detect cyanide in nearly every substance without a lab, extensive training or high costs.
